Statistical Process Control (SPC) can only be used with a DGK Series Gauge that has Factory Fitted optional PID Control Hardware.
The SPC applies a control algorithm which uses the Standard Deviation, Cp and Cpk values to control the diameter below the mean set point if possible to maximize material savings without breaching the minimum set point.
